Allen and Miranda Jennings are CEO and President of WES Industries which includes Short Powerline Service.

The Jennings lead a team of 76 employees and over 100 contractors to deliver safe, reliable, and costefficient operations. The organization provides design, construction, and service to a diverse customer base throughout the Rocky Mountains and western United States. WES Industries houses multiple businesses including all phases of construction, electrical systems and controls, surveying, mapping, and engineering, reclamation and remediation/revegetation, human resources, powerline design and construction, equipment
maintenance and repair.

As CEO, Allen’s professional portfolio includes 17 years of construction management and business leadership and operations experience both domestically and internationally.

His previous positions include Vice President of operations TDS Construction, Director of strategy, planning and performance for a $236 million Baker Hughes product line, Regional Manager for a $68 million/year commercial development and maintenance business in additional to other managerial and operational roles. Prior to his professional roles, Allen became an accomplished carpenter with a heavy focus on commercial projects including custom concrete and civil work to layout and framing to interior and exterior finishes with attention to design and  engineering. Allen is also a 3rd generation journeyman lineman with a standing record at the Lineman rodeo
competitions.

With respect to education, Allen holds several certificates across many disciplines. Class A Journeymen Linemen certificate, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Certificate in engineering and design principles through Mclaren, ISO 9001-4 quality control and inspection certificate, NDT class 2 certification including mag particle, 6-S champion certificate, Health, Safety and Environmental Management certificate from Kiazen Principles. Allen is also an accomplished leadership trainer with extensive hands-on training and implementation of leadership with various teams both internally and externally.

In addition to professional development and accomplishments Allen serves his community, state and country in developing our youth by actively coaching youth baseball and hockey in the local community.

He serves as a precinct representative for the Wyoming Republican party. He serves as a member of the Chamber of Commerce and supports many nonprofit organizations that provide resources for the needs in our community such as the Hope Center, Central Wyoming Rescue Mission, Hospice, the American Heart Association, the Red Cross, 4H and many others. In 2013, Allen was awarded the Patriotic Employers trophy for his commitment of employing veterans.

The Jennings family including their 4 children are engrained in all facets of the business. Allen’s brother Mike is a Superintendent and Pit Champion. Allen’s son is Media Manager and Drone Pilot. The Jennings family has a strong family bond that embraces every team member employed by WES Industries.
